It is one’s makeup as a person that takes them to success.
I bought the following book for a friend who wants to learn how to experience her full capacity for love.
Confession time….. it’s me. 😉
Being divorced, in midlife, and not having dated in 30 years, I decided to turn to the experts for advice. I’m a huge fan of Gay Hendricks. I use his other books in my coaching programs and retreats – Conscious Breathing: Breathwork for Health, Stress Release, and Personal Mastery, The Big Leap: Conquer Your Hidden Fear and Take Life To The Next Level, and The Joy of Genius.
I opened the book to Chapter 1 – Creativity Calling. Interesting title.
I turned to the next chapter and hesitated. “Huh?”
Chapter 2 – Integrity Is Sexy.
The Point
Integrity is an energy issue. When you do what you say you are going to do and you don’t do what you say you’re not going to do, it’s attractive.
More interested in the topic of integrity than relationships, I picked up another book:
He describes six key characteristics held by those who have strong integrity.
- Are able to connect with others and build trust
- See all of the realities that are in front of them
- Work in a way that actually produces outcomes
- Deal with problem people, negative situations, obstacles, failures, setbacks, and losses
- Create growth in the organization, their people, themselves, their profits, or their industry
- Transcend their own interests and give themselves to the larger purposes
These are sexy.
Rate Yourself.
- How many of the six characteristics do you embrace each day?
- How can you increase your skills in all of them?
- How sexy do you want to be today?

Integrity is not something you either have or don’t.
It is made up of measurable skills that can be learned
and implemented daily when problems arise.
