I met Helen as we ordered our flat white coffees on a beautiful Sunday morning. I was curious about her experience living in Australia. I asked a lot of questions. Her eyes smiled as she gushed about her country. She invited me to join her for breakfast. Her husband Paul sat silently and watched us chirp away.

Paul joined our conversation. His pithy wit kept me amused. My heart opened. “I love this couple! Is everyone in Australia as bright and funny as they are?”

Now it was Paul’s turn to answer my questions. “Tell me about you, Paul.”

“I run a mentor program for health business owners and would love to interview you for my monthly podcast program. You have a great message and energy.”

“Yes!”

Paul Wright

Paul Wright is a physiotherapist who owned, operated, and sold multiple Get Active Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Clinics in Australia. He has been actively involved in clinical education around the world having lectured to over 20,000 health professionals – in the areas of program design, injury prevention, rehabilitation and business development.

He founded www.PhysioProfessor.com – “Your 24/7 Online Physiotherapy Mentor: A global online community of practitioners to mastermind with and provide the best results possible for patients.”

He wrote a book: How to Run a One-Minute Practice. www.oneminutepractice.com.

He developed several online programs such as Profit Club, Practice Acceleration Program, and One-on-One Mentoring. www.healthbusinessprofits.com.

A few days before the podcast, I received the interview questions and a picture.

“I have attached the interview questions PLUS a photo I took on the weekend I thought you would like. I was reading your book while doing a surf patrol on Saturday and thought you would enjoy the image.”

He was teased by his colleagues for reading, Savvy Woman Success in 5 Minutes a Day: Make Time for a Life That Matters. He laughed off their ribbing and read the entire book.

Paul’s openness, humor, and success demonstrates that Savvy Men are curious, passionate about learning and growing, enthusiastic to share their knowledge and expertise, and comfortable in their own skin.

How to Practice Curiosity

  1. When an idea comes up, get curious and follow it.
  2. Think less and act more.
  3. Set a short time limit for doing it.
  4. Ask someone to hold you accountable for completing it.

My curiosity led me to Paul Wright and to creating a podcast that you can list to here.
